Whether a buyer first spots your home home on the internet, on a stroll through your neighborhood or a when pulling into the driveway for a scheduled showing, your exterior is their first impression. So it's important to consider: Will it catch their eye? Is it warm and inviting? Does it fit the neighborhood?

A general rule of thumb, and maybe the obvious, is to always keep a well manicured lawn when selling your home, that includes: lawn mowed, weeds pulled, fresh mulch, watered flowers. Here are some additional tips to spruce up your curb appeal ...
Front Door: The front door is such an important piece. It literally is the focal point of the curb appeal of the home. You can paint it an eye catching color to compliment your exterior or stain it for a stately feel to match the exterior style.

Shutters and flower boxes: Your windows are another area of focus on the home. Depending on the style, adding shutters can be like adding jewelry to an outfit. It can completely change the look and feel. Adding a couple of window flower boxes is another personal favorite. You can change out the flowers or decor in the boxes with each season for added curb appeal all year long!
